DAY 6: MAY 31, 2015
Today was our last morning in Monteverde. After a CRn breakfast we started our journey down the mountain to the Pacific coast. While we were ridding the dirty roads, we were able to see the big Nicoya Golf and its peninsula from far away (North-west of CR) After about an hour on the bus and once we got to the paved street we stopped at a CRn styled grocery store for some snacks and water. We must say we were surprised by the new weather. After only one hour driving, we were away from the chilly-cold Monteverde and got into the HOT and humid Pacific coast. As soon as we arrived to the hotel we jumped in the refreshing pools. We needed this as it was burning hot! After lunch, we went to the beach just for a glance and to touch the waters of the Pacific Ocean. Then by 4:00PM and after visiting Jaco downtown, we headed to a town called Tarcoles for an exciting Crocodiles Tour we decided to take. It was thrilling being there in a boat inches away from those huge reptiles. Jose our local guide told us all about the Crocs, they even give them names such as "Shakira". During the tour we also enjoyed sighting lots of birds such as the Cara Cara bird. It was incredible to see this wild animals even closer to what you could see them if you were in a zoo. Oh almost forget, we chose the tour in the afternoon so we could see the sunset from where the ocean and the river converge. It was BREATH TAKING! Of course we took AMAZING pictures we'll show you when we get back. After dinner, we went back to the town of Jaco to buy some more water and snacks. We'll need energy tomorrow because the fun continues!!!!! Well, it's not that we want to brag here, but we hope you sleep as tight as we are in this nice rooms with the AC and the sound of the rain drops hitting our roofs! Oh and with the ocean almost in front of us.
