Tomorrow is the big day of the Chess Tournament at Thunder Mountain. It's the tournament I run for the kids in our Chess Club. This year we have 23 participants. That's pretty good. Each year the number goes up. They all received their green Chess Club T-shirt today in their classes and tomorrow we'll see who wins the trophies. Joe and Ben are playing.
Jessica has no school tomorrow because the Juniors are taking the ACT test, so she is working at Thunder Mountain all day tomorrow. Her previous teachers are glad to have her help them.

How did the chess tournament go?
ReplyDeleteJoe got first place and Ben didn't place 1st, 2nd,or 3rd. But I'm proud he played. He's a good player, just gets bored easily.
ReplyDeleteIn Way Pub Joe would be a "faithful plodder" and Ben would be someone who may need a B assignment so he'd have versatility!!!
