Resurrection Sunday - aka Easter -- aka 4/20

Today is Resurrection Sunday which is a great day to rejoice because Jesus Christ got up!  I have heard many teachings throughout the year but I'll always remember being in my early 20s and hearing the song "He's Alive" sung for the first time.  That was POWERFUL.

Jessica came home for the weekend which is always nice.

She got in Friday afternoon and went by the high school to see if her art history teacher was in so they could discuss Paris.  She wasn't in.  Then she went to swim practice.  Ben went to Spin City and I ended up taking a nap.

Saturday I went and got Jessica's car serviced and cleaned and then got a cut and color for my hair.  She went to Barnes and Noble and wrote a paper.  Ben and Dave went to the Mack Airport for the Young Eagles flight.  (It ended up being cancelled but Ben worked on a model rib for an aircraft while they waited to see if the weather was going to force cancellation.)  In the afternoon Jessica and I went out to lunch and got pedicures.  That evening we all went to Olive Garden.

Sunday there was talk of hikes and bike rides, but I needed to work and pay sales tax, etc.  Joe and Dad did a bike ride and Jess finished her paper.  We had a nice Ham and mac and cheese supper before Jessica headed back to Golden.

She wanted to make sure her brothers got Easter stuff so we went to the store before supper today.  I certainly wasn't ahead of the game on that one.
