The Day Before Spine Class - October 8, 2014

Children's Hopsital of Colorado offers a Spine class for all children undergoing spine surgery.  This is what we did on my 53rd birthday.  We decided to go to Denver the day before just so traffic/weather didn't hinder us from getting there.  We left on Wednesday, October 8 (right after Joe had a sleep over at his friend's house).  Needless to say Joe did sleep some on the way.  How this is comfortable, I'll never know.

That right there is Joe sleeping.  We arrived Dave and Busters at about 1:30 p.m. and ate lunch and then played a lot of games for 1/2 Price Wednesday.  Joe and I played Monopoly some and Ben and I shot baskets for awhile.  Dave won over 2000 tickets on a game.  We also played pool together.

Ben has been saving tickets for a couple of years.  He "got" a Wii and is planning to sell it on Ebay and perhaps get a PS3.  It's up for auction now.  Look how excited the worker is.  Holy cow!

That night we stayed at a La Quinta and Dave and the boys went to go see The Equalizer.  I ordered a salad "room service" and began to watch a Showtime series called Homeland.  After they went to the movies, the boys agreed to go with Dave to "Joe's Crab Shack."  Ben sent me these pictures.

Ben captioned the three "bib" photos #professionalbibtier.  The other picture is what someone looks like before 6 beers and then if you turn the photo upside down, it is what someone looks like after 6 photos.  They were still wound up when they got home and they stayed awake for awhile.  I fell asleep about 10:30 p.m.

  1. We saw the Equalizer this weekend too. Whoo, a little violence! I think I'm starting to appreciate movies like Frozen! Ha!
