FNC Class

Our time leading up to our FNC has been full.  So full I forgot to take my thyroid medicine and other medicine for RA for about 7 to 10 days.  I know that when the 2:00 p.m. crash hits.  So, the great master plan now is how to remember the basics when the pace picks up crazily again.  I continue to take things off my plate, which is helping.  Yesterday was session one, but the day before was the Orientation.  We hardly ever get rain here, believe it or not.  But right before people were to arrive, the thunder and lightening were going, Joe was saying he thought he had an ear infection, my class tables had not arrived, etc.   I walked outside and said, "Really, is that all you got?"  The rain stopped by the time people began arriving.  Joe and I went to the doctor that night and yes he has a double ear infection.  We got some amoxycllin (as we need him healthy as a horse on 12/10.)  People sat in chairs with no tables - no biggee.

The rain on Orientation Night

The "fix" for the no tables still on Wednesday!
We had all six students at the Orientation.  It was short and sweet.  Session One was last night and two of the students were ill - one with a migraine and one coming down with a cold.  They made the decision to stay home.  They were asking for a makeup, but that is not available.  So they will be ready for our next class.  We tried to encourage them to come, but they really didn't feel well.

I found these adjustable tables that could be used at each chair and I love them.  I like them much better than a table where they might be squished together.  Session One we had Terry and Nicki Sheerin also (from Gunnison).  Tonight Ed will be here with Nicki.  Nicki is getting her repeat FNC in.  The boys love her wit.  She is about 6 months older than Joe.  That worked out well.
