X-rays Ordered August 2014

Joe has been seeing a chiropractor for over two years now for the same pain in his lower back. We've always attributed it to him being too tall for the school desks. He said it had hurt the most after Band when playing the saxophone and in Mrs. Harrison's 8th grade Literacy class where the chairs and desks are an all-in-one unit. Mrs. Harrison had made concessions for him, but he didn't want to stand out and just put up with the pain.
Some time over the summer we were made aware of the fact that Joe's 1st cousin - Dave's sisters' daughter had to begin wearing a back brace for scoliosis. We brought this information to our Chiropractor and he was saying that he was thinking it was time to get an X-ray. He ordered x-rays and on August 11 we headed to Community Hospital.
When he got the x-ray results, we were immediately told it was scoliosis. Our next step was to see Dr. Gebhard in Grand Junction. He is the father of one of Jessica's good friends and a good man from a good family - so we felt great about this upcoming visit.
It would not be until 8/28 that we would get in to see him.
