Wait, What? August 21 already. Crazy. Summer was good, but short. We went to Branson, Missouri with Dave's family on their bi-annual Family Reunion. We had a super time. He's got a great family and we always have a good time. The kids did some ziplining, and they went to Silver Dollar City. Lynn, Lylah, Barb and I went to see a show together. That was fun. The theater was almost bare though. Makes you feel a little bad for the performers. Here are some photos from Branson.
The entire family did a "duck boat" trip. I had never done that. We had a great time on that also. Dave and I sat down and talked to the people about time share ownership, but agreed not to do it. We are very thankful Don and Barb have it though.
After our time in Branson, we all drove to St. Louis, Missouri where Tim and Vicky met us also. We took in a Cardinals game. The adults were in a "party room," and the kids were all sitting together. It was okay, but I am not a big Cardinals fan so it was neither here nor there. The next day we all went up in the arch. That was a little claustrophobic. You could feel it sway also. That is one of those things that I will say I'm glad I did, but I don't think I'll do it again. Then we headed home to Colorado.
