Big weekend

Dave flew home to see his family over Mother's Day Weekend. His mom's birthday is right around Mother's Day and he was just wanting to get out there alone. He is still there.

Thursday and Friday were no school days for the kids. Friday Ben spent with his friend Tristan. They went to the carnival at the mall from 4:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Then they went to Blockbuster to get movies to watch in Tristan's theater room. They stayed up till 3 or 3:30 a.m. and slept till about 11 in the "dark" theater room. The next day was spent learning how to ride a four wheeler and doing that all afternoon. Ben came home around 6pm and fell asleep by 8 with no problem.

Joe had a baseball game on Saturday and then two of his friends, Hunter and Dezmon, went with him to see Iron Man 2. I got them in there and then they went by themselves to the movie. It was a 2hr 20 min movie and they really liked it. Then they came over and played with Joe for awhile - Dez till 5:30 and Hunter till 8:30. They had a great time.

Sunday was mother's day. We slept in till 9 and then around 10 went to Starvin Arvins for breakfast. Afterwards I cleaned upstairs and the kids cleaned their rooms. Then at 2 I took Joe and a friend (Ryan) and Ben and a friend (Brandon) to the carnival. We stayed till 7. Now I am trying to get the house looking good for when Dave gets home tomorrow.

Really needed to go shopping for food today, but didn't make it. Tomorrow I volunteer at school and then have a Dolphin's Board Meeting. Tuesday I volunteer at school and have Bingo for the Dolphins. Wednesday I get a perm and have a Corps Meeting that night. So hopefully Thursday I can sit at my desk again. Somewhere in there I'll make it to the store.

It will be nice to have Dave home tomorrow.
