Today I helped out with the cookie dough fundraiser. I posted a photo from my phone to facebook of the pallets of cookie dough. I think the PTA raised about 9,000 (their take). I went to the doctor today to ask about a sinus thingy I've had for about one month. It's where your face hurts and your teeth hurt, but you're not blowing your nose a lot. So I start an antibiotic as soon as I can get to Wal-Mart to pick it up. Probably tomorrow. Then I went to the dentist for my 6 month check up. My check up was great and they are so proud of Joe and how he did with his whole tooth ordeal.
Then back home to pick up Joe and head to Parent/Teacher conferences. Glowing reports for Ben and Joe and with Joe's G/T teacher. She will actually move to 5th grade next year and be his 5th grade teacher as some teachers are retiring this year.
Dave made hamburgers with Joe's help and I started counting Little League Fundraising money. We collected 900.00 from raffle tickets from our team of 12 alone. When I turned it in, they said we had the highest dollar amount so far and may win a pizza party. Then Joe and I were off to his game which they won. Joe got a smoking hit down the third base line which was great.
Dave is off tomorrow to Illinois to spend Mother's Day with his mom and his family. His mom's birthday is around the 12th so they'll celebrate that too. The kids are out of school Thursday, Friday, Sat, and Sun. so we'll do some fun stuff too.
Jess got her ACT scores back. She scored a 28. In 6th grade it was a 19, in 9th grade a 28. I think you take it for real as a Junior and the highest score is 36. So great job, Jessica!
