Dave is in Illinois today. I took him to the airport at 6:30 a.m. The kids are off of school and slept in a little bit.

Joe and Ben got haircuts at 10 and 10:30. Then they played together and with friends the rest of the day. It was a very low key day. Jessica went to teach swim lessons this afternoon/evening. Getting ready to call it a day.

Ben gets to spend the afternoon and evening with his new best friend from school Tristan. They are so excited about this. They made plans about a month ago at their friend Emma's birthday party. Tristan's mom is going to pick him up at 1:30pm and there is a carnival going on at our mall. They are going to go there and also Tristan has an acre and a half in his back yard and he rides a four wheeler and a dirt bike in his backyard so they may give Ben lessons.

Ben is so excited. Pray for his safety though too!

Tristan is the boy on the right. I just noticed what the boy in the black shirt might be doing with his finger. Sorry about that. (And he's an AVID Jehovah's Witness. Go figure.)
