Gardening!

This year we have a flourishing garden. Last year we bought a wood box from Sams Club and tried our hand at gardening with not much luck. This year Dave, Joe, and Ben have been hard at work watering, using Miracle Grow and teding the garden. All of the tomatoes above are from the garden as is the cucumber. The zucchini was from Farmers Market. I wanted you to get a feel for how BIG the zucchini was. I made four loaves of zucchini bread and still had more left over. The banana is just for size reference.

We made our own salsa from the tomatoes and we'll do that again. With the price of food just going up and up, we figure we'll get a egg laying hen, a dairy cow, a pig, and a cow next. Haha.
