Laura is 62 - WHAT, when did that happen?

According to my sources, this picture is Laura in 1968 before her birthday, so that would make her 18 almost 19. Time seems to march on by. Laura is the oldest of the Lombardi 7. She has always had great leadership qualities - probably forced since she always had to entertain us - and funny - oh so funny.

We have a Christmas 1969 audiotape where we all speak on it. Laura is all about the peace marches in San Francisco and peace and love and peace and love. It's really fun to listen to.

Now she has two grown daughters - and my daughter happens to be with them both on this Laura's birthday. Jessica, Ramona, and Angie are all in New Jersey this day. So anyway Happy Birthday, Laura!

Today I worked at Joe's school to help with registration. I got to meet some of the 6th grade teachers and some of the staff at Bookcliff. It was great to be able to help out.

The boys and Dave went to Farmers Market Thursday night and got a gigantic zucchini. I wrote mom for her zucchini bread recipe and she sent it to me so I'll have to make that for them - but not eat it myself. I am down 10 pounds and on day 13 - so very happy with that and don't want to disrupt progress.

  1. I just read this on August 29. Thanks, Patty. I love your writing. Best to you and Joe on his tooth pulling. Will keep him in my prayers.
